The Renaissance of American Knifemaking: A Collectors' Tale
Nordic Knives wanted a direct mail piece to stimulate interest in investment-grade hand-made
knives.

"My Knife, " the first one made in D'Alton Holder's workshop in
Amarillo.
This hunting knife has a dropped-point blade of polished 440-C steel, and a handle made of
alternate pieces of fossilized walrus oosik and half-million-year-old amber.
The engraving on the butt and guard is by Mel Wood. |
