Christmas Day
In the morning we opened gifts.
CZ was Santa's assistant.
Luke and Ian got plenty of tools--
it was a tool Christmas.
I was surprised to see Ian wearing a Tax
Dodgers shirt--I thought all those shirts were gone. Nancy's tax-preparation company
sponsored my Tax Dodgers softball team back in 1987, and my father designed the logo.
Nancy got a booze-holding ceramic monkey from Barbara, her dad's wife.
Nancy's sister Laura also got one. ???
CZ got a set of speakers for her laptop computer.
Nancy gave each kid a ping-pong-ball rifle and they helled around shooting up the house
for half an hour. I asked them to all line up and shoot me.
Then we straightened house and prepared for the Christmas meal.
Matt was a kitchen slave while the younger set
were gameroom slaves.
The young cats were very interested in the cookery but were unable to steal anything.
Jim and Laura arrived with the centerpiece of the meal, a magnificent prime rib roast, and we
all gorged.
In the evening I went to Henry's place for an excellent Christmas meal.
Henry and Colin in hats.

After dinner Henry and I looked at his prints and discussed digital photography for hours. |
