I drove to Florida to visit my father Jerry and his wife Martha. Martha has Alzheimer's and requires a full-time live-in attendant, Pat.

Pop and I visited Alex and Irene's house, then had drinks and dinner with them and another couple.

On the way out of Florida I stopped at my cousin Janet's place for dinner. We were best pals when we were kids but haven't seen each other much in adult life.
