It was Friday, and Mike and Lori were in town for a big Wal-Mart.com meatspace meeting. Plus, Rosie resigned from Wal-Mart.com to accept a position at StubHub.com. So the gang met at Dalva on 16th at Valencia to raise drinks. We had thirty or forty drinks at Dalva and then went around the corner to Blondies. We like Blondies because they have a balcony on the street and you can smoke cigarettes while you're drinking your Ketel gimlet. Street people constantly hit you up for a spare cig, but that's the burden you bear. |
