Fusion

Fusion electric guitars are for stage use in combination with an amplifier. They will give you a natural acoustic sound at high volume, and you won't have to worry about resonant feedback during live performances.

A ceramic pickup is inserted between the saddle and the bridge; it picks up the vibrations of the strings directly, not the movement of the top. This suppresses resonant feedback at high volume and gives you excellent reproduction of the acoustic guitar sound.

The tone and volume controls are on the side of the top bout for easy access. The controls are electronically matched with the pickup to achieve a wide tone variation. They balance the response of the musician, the pickup, and the amplifier. The cutaway body lets you get to the high notes easier.

Any Alvarez guitar can become an electric. I can custom-install an anti-feedback Balanced Response pickup under the bridge. But these Fusion models have been specially designed to be electrics.
