Luke
Luke has a job at Coastal Copy now, forty hours a week. In the morning he loads two or three high-end Xerox machines into a truck and drives to office buildings where he delivers the new laser copier to the proper office, disconnects the old copier from the various circuits, and installs the new copier. Each copier has many add-on components, and Luke has to keep track of how many extra circuit boards must be inserted for the customer's particular setup.

Some days of the week he delivers to Santa Maria and San Luis Obisbo, but the majority of the work is from Goleta to Carpenteria. The customers are mostly government entities and giant corporations controlled by immense governmental regulations. Billions of government documents are xeroxed every day.
