My brother Scott was accepted at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, so he drove from Detroit toward California. He stopped in Oklahoma to visit with our siblings there, and his car conked out. He talked Matt into driving him to California, and Matt ended up staying in California for the rest of his life. (So far.)
