Our cat Folly
We got a black kitten in the spring of 1953. I had just read a magazine article about the acquisition of Alaska, known as "Seward's Folly," and I liked that word, "folly," and that became the cat's name.
In this picture, she's five years old and lurking at the dining room table, ready to snare any available food with one lightning swipe of her paw.
